I can't remember if I talked about the activity we did on P day last week, so I'm gonna share again. We were able to go to a wild cat preserve with the Worthington family. It was so cool! I love cheetahs and lions and those guys, so I took a ton of pictures! But it was really cool. The Worthingtons are the best! They are so funny and take good care of us!
The weather this week was so nice/awful. We had rain for a good four days. Like constant sprinkling or downpour. It was nice because the temperature was lower and the humidity was 100%, yet somehow easier to handle. The downside is the fact that we were walking three of the four days it was raining! Haha. Luckily we both have umbrellas to keep us mostly dry. It would've been really easy to use the excuse of the weather to not do much missionary work, but we kept going. Even the day Sister Carpenter had a cavity filled, we kept going! We were blessed to find four new investigators, two of which have very good potential! It's great how things are being set up for when she leaves me, next week!
It's crazy to think how I've been serving for 3 months on Thursday! Where has the time gone? Some days it feels like I just left. I'm already regretting how quickly the time is passing! I love it here, and I love being a missionary! Ugh, change is weird. I don't want things to change!
Our baptism for Taylor and Xandra on Saturday was great! We were scrambled to get everything set up because neither Carpenter, not I had ever done a baptism. It all worked out, though and we ended up having a great program. We both gave the talks. The best part is the comments the girls made after they came out of the water. Taylor said "wow, I just feel so clean!" Xandra said "Can we do that again? It was great!" It's so cool to have experience this with them. I'm grateful for the chance I was given to be a part of it all!
It was a really good week, but the pictures are the best part!!
I love you all. Have a great week!
