Wow, it's been 4 months!!
It's been a pretty slow week! We were able to see a few little miracles! This guy , Jeff, who I met last transfer and haven't been able to be in contact with, pulled over where we were walking and made an appointment with us! It was so random and awesome!
We were able to go to the temple with Taylor and Xandra. They were a little nervous, but eventually it was a good experience! The weather is changing all of a sudden now. It's slower than Logan, Utah, but they (the trees) have ALL changed this week! I've taken a few pictures (; I love trees and fall is my season! It's cooling down, so sweaters are coming out!
The bi-ward Halloween party was this week. We all got to go and our friend Jim was there with us! He is not a member, but we invited him and I think he and his granddaughter really enjoyed themselves!
Other than that, we have been busy walking and knocking. With the weather changing, I'm sure it will get a lot more difficult to be outside all day, but we are enjoying every minute while the weather is perfect!
One thing I've learned is how the Lord has a plan for each of us. Everything that we experience is part of the Plan. Sometimes it's really crappy and we have a difficult time understanding why it's happening, but every experience we have is to teach us something. I've learned that, as a missionary, when we happen to be tracting in a certain area at a specific time, we meet someone who needs something from us. It's so important that we listen to the promptings from the spirit to lead and guide us in the right direction. We are able to see so many more miracles when we follow those promptings. Just like seeing Jeff this week!
Look for those finger prints from God in your lives this week. Don't focus on the bad or difficult stuff, but focus on the blessings you receive each day! I love you all, Have a great week!
